Ray Beal Founder

Hello I'm Ray and I am one of the founders of G.H.O.S.T.S. (Ghost Hunters Of Southern Tri State).

The paranormal has always been an interest of mine. I am a skeptic until I personally see something with my own eyes that can confirm that there is life after death. The reason why I do research in this field is because I have had a great loss of family and it seemed to be one death after another. My father and my mom have both passed with my mom's death being the more tragic of the two. My step brothers have also passed way before there time. When my mom had passed I found her body in her apartment and I would never want this to happen to anyone. A lot of the experiences of what I have been through in the past make me the type of person and investigator I am today. I am looking for proof of an after life and I hoping one day to uncover it.

My favorite part of investigating is going to different places and meeting new people. I like to do research to find out what myself and my team is getting into before we actually go and investigate. We have a great team! I'm very happy with the way the group gets along.

I joined up with G.H.O.S.T.S and the team has grown into a great paranormal research and investigation group. Every one is willing to learn as much as possible and move forward together to better understand the paranormal around us and help those in need of an explanation. I'm a firm believer that no way is wrong or even may be the correct way. Every one needs to have an open mind to trying different things.

I've come across many people in this field that believe their way is the right way and that's it. These are the type of people that hold back the forward progress, and I chose to stay away from. I believe any one willing to spend any time and money into the field of the paranormal should have the opportunity. So if you're willing and able "educate your self and get out and start investigating". Every time a new piece of evidence is found it's one step closer to finding the truth. Good luck and have fun!

doing a two for one here first is my bio, I am Lisa, a CNA and got into the paranormal when I had a few experiences that I could not explain and it lead me into wanting to know how and why these things happen I usually get a gut feeling when there is something odd occurring and have physically heard things that later show up on evp recordings. and now for goofball gary lol!

My name is Gary, I have been interested in the paranormal since a young age mainly due to growing up in a home that was old and had some unexplained things that happened, plus also being very curious at that age led me to reading books on the subject at great length and watching as many shows about it as I could, I have just recently entered the paranormal field a few years ago to really get a hands on sense of how both evidence is gathered and also to be able to see for myself the interesting places that have history. thanks to this interest of mine I have also found my wife Lisa with whom we share our paranormal life together!

I  have had an interest in the paranormal since the age of 8 after having my first experience. At this young age having an experience I realize that this type of phenomena can be startling to most especially younger people. These experiences would occur throughout my life including multiple experiences on military bases while serving our country in the United States Marine Corps.

It wasn’t until after my father’s death in 2000 that I realized that maybe in some way you could capture evidence of the paranormal using electronic devices. I didn’t know however that there was groups that actually would go out to find locations to pro actively hunt out haunted locations to acquire evidence. For most of us it was a movie that taught us that E.V.P.s could be captured and TV shows that showed groups that performed paranormal team activities. This type of programming sparked my interest to hunt out local groups to attempt to join.

Since deciding to become an active participant of a paranormal group I have met a lot of great people, have hunted some great locations, as well as collected a lot of cool evidence. I have been a member of other groups but have found a good home here at G.H.O.S.T.S. I am hoping as a member of G.H.O.S.T.S. to once again experience what I experienced as an eight year old. I know that I would never be able to convince some people of the occurrence of this type phenomena but the one I want to prove it to is myself.

I have always had a fascination with the other side..i was a loner growing up..hung around in grave yards..read books on the occult,witchcraft,and the dead..although I don't like horror movies,I was,and am still intrigued by the thought if.being able to seek out spirits of those past..I have had many experiences that have proved to me there is another realm...by chance I met the team leader of..GHOSTS...I am thrilled to be a team member,and continue learning about the other side..
